Landscape Installation
Full-scale installation of plantings, beds, grading, edging, and sod.
Overview
What's included
Installation is where a plan becomes a property.
We handle the whole build: rough and finish grading, soil amendment, bed excavation and shaping, steel or spade-cut edging, tree and shrub planting, perennial beds, sod or seed, mulch or decorative rock, and low-voltage lighting. Because we own our own skid steers, mini excavator, and dump trailers, large installs don't stall waiting on rented equipment or a third-party crew.
We stage material deliveries so your driveway isn't blocked for a week, protect existing turf with plywood tracks, and finish each day with the site cleaned up. Plantings are chosen for the specific microclimate of your lot — how much sun a bed actually gets, how water moves across it, and how much salt spray it takes from the street in winter.
Everything we plant is hardy to USDA zone 3b/4a so it survives a Minnesota winter, not just a Minnesota summer.
How We Do It
Our process for landscape installation
Site prep & grading
We strip, grade, and amend soil so water moves away from the house before anything gets planted.
Layout & beds
Beds are cut and edged to the plan, then marked so you can approve shapes before planting.
Planting & materials
Trees, shrubs, and perennials set at proper depth, then mulched, rocked, or sodded.
Walkthrough & care plan
We walk the finished install with you and leave a written watering and care schedule.
